Wonderful location, in my opinion the best in Zao. Western room was spacious comfortable. Great shower. Hotel facilities are very nice.

Great, old school Japanese place to stay, right next to the gondola - its about a 20meter walk to the gondola entrance! And you can ski down the hill, right to the door. The room was nice and big with traditional tatami and futons. Great staff - the owner speaks really good english and is really helpful - he has great suggestions for everything from Onsen to restaurants etc. They even helped me ship my snowboard with Kuroneko back to Narita.

Extremely cute place run by the sweetest Taiwanese couple. They speak multiple languages - Japanese, Chinese and English. They were also super helpful with providing us with all of the necessary information, ensuring that we were well taken care of for breakfast (amazing with proper coffee) and transport. The place was so warm and cozy with heated floors in the rooms which is a great plus for us who don’t do well with the cold.

We were unaware that breakfast was included, so that was a lovely surprise. The property is set in a beautiful location, a short walk to the restaurants and ski fields. The hosts were amazing, and very helpful with assisting us with onsen and restaurant bookings.

The owner made us feel very welcome, and provided us a lot of tips for activities in the neighbourhood. The house was beautiful, spacious and kids friendly.
