Cheap hotels in Phonsavan

A host full of useful information. Spacious individual rooms. Lovely garden. Sweet family. Tea and coffee and bananas all day. Communal area with beers and fire. Phonsavan attracts a more adventurous crowd so good chats can be had. Lots of hot water. Central location for ATMs, bakeries, coffee, Lao and western food, markets.

We spent only a day at Sipanya Guesthouse (in a hurry in our program) but we had time to enjoy it very much : the staff was very welcoming, the room has a very nice space and the bed quite comfortable. To optimize our time we took a tour guide for one day before leaving with a night bus. Mr Souk took us early in the morning so we had time to do the whole tour. We went through many sites, he was very kind and caring. We learned a lot from the Jarres sites and history of the region, very interesting ! We had a wonderful day in a very good company ! So if you have the chance to spend few days at this lovely guest house and want to do a tour, ask for Mr Souk, if he is available. It is a very good night and very good day guarantee !! We really enjoyed the hillside residence. It is a very quiet place. The bedroom was comfortable and super clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. Good breakfast and the best laundry service in Laos!
