Fantastic hotel from the moment we checked-in until check-out! Staff really was there to help when needed and swimming pool was amazing! A little bit overvalued in terms of pricing in my opinion for Sri Lanka but overall it was a super nice stay and we enjoyed it. Breakfast was delicious and a lot to choose from!

This is a new, modernly furnished complex of three villas. Each villa has two separate bedrooms with their own bathroom, located on the 2nd floor. On the ground floors there is a large dining area, kitchen area and seating areas. In the backyard there is a swimming pool and sunbathing areas. The layout of the villas is very comfortable. The villas are equipped with everything you need. If something is missing, the staff will quickly bring it. Contact the guys via Whats app. The staff is very welcoming, sociable, friendly, always ready to help. Predib, I hope we will see each other again :-) The location of the villas is also excellent - the city beach and the Smoke&Bitters restaurant are 20 meters away. Within 800 meters, there are many cafes, including breakfast ones. You can also buy groceries at the Cargills supermarket or order breakfast at the Villa. By the way, there is even a restaurant with food delivery - Blue Bay Chillout Lounge. We used it several times, very convenient :-). We liked everything. We will definitely recommend this place and will happy return again.

Sahan and has family are great hosts and made us feel very welcome, and a very friendly dog. The breakfasts were amazing! 5 minutes walk from a beach where you can swim with turtles, and a short tuktuk away from the main Dikwella town and Hirekitiya. Sahan also got us get on a direct bus to our next location which was really helpful!

This was our first time vacationing on the island of Sri Lanka. I can confidently say that the time we spent in this house left the best impressions. We initially booked this house for a few nights but then extended our stay. The house has its own large area by Sri Lankan standards, beautiful garden with bananas, mangoes and other trees. It is away from the busy road which is a huge positive. You can relax and enjoy nature. Dikwella beach with a very gentle entrance and no big waves is about 10 minutes walk. The house is very clean and cozy. High ceilings, wooden furniture, a lot of small details pleasant to the eye. The room has good furniture and plumbing, there is air conditioning and no problems with hot water and sewage. The host carefully monitors the order in the house. Amila is always ready to give you any help, solve problems, always with a smile and good mood. We learned from him a lot of new and interesting things about the customs in Sri Lanka, the way of life of the islanders, traditions in the family. He never refused us in communication. We additionally bought breakfasts and dinner. They were very tasty and varied. This is real home food, not like in hotels. Amila also has wonderful parents. Evenings spent with this family will always remain in our memory. We would like to say thank you very much for your hospitality and we are sure that we will definitely come back here again.

A nice place to stay in Dikwella that is conveniently located just a minutes walk to Dikwella beach, a 20 min walk to hirikitiya beach, and just 7 minutes (2 mins scooter) to turtle beach (where you are pretty much guaranteed to see turtles). The bed was comfortable, I slept well, and the surrounding was local and natury. I would say one of the main things that stood out was the friendly hosts Nimal and his wife who went out of their way to ensure it was a comfortable stay for me. They provided helpful tips on what to see and do, also arranged a scooter (which was MUCH easier than having to deal with a rental company), and Nimal saved the day getting me to my bus to Ella (whilst risking life and limb in traffic to get me on it!). If that doesn't convince you to book a few nights, their delicious traditional Sri Lankan breakfast will!

    Hosts are genuinely hospitable, room was very proper, very good value for money. Location is ideal, quiet and close to the 2 beaches in the area which are dickwella beach if you want to chill and hiriketiya beach if you want to surf. Common area is great and includes hammocks. Breakfast and meals cam be prepared for you by the owners for very cheap price. I recommend!

    Surf’s nest is a nice private place just a couple minutes walk from the beach. The vegan cafe beside it offers cheap and delicious food. Surf nest also offer an affordable tuktuk service. The shop attached supplies basic needs such as water and snacks and also toiletries which makes it a convenient location. There are restaurants along the street.

    If you are looking for a budget stay in Hiri, that's the place! Great location a few mins walk from the beach and close to everything. I stayed in a single room which was simple but very clean with a comfortable bed and had everything I needed. The host family are the kindest and most helpful, they looked after me like a family. The included breakfast is simply delicious.
