We stayed one night in abimansala resort. It was really a nice experience. They’re a really kind family. The food was really good. The location was beautiful. It’s a nice place to stay. It’s quiet, clean. They gave us some pepper to take back home. It’s near by a river that you can take a bath. It’s really a nice place to be in immersion with nature. We recommend this place.

Everything at Ferndale is designed to offer a personal and intimate experience. The small-scale setting and personalized service make the stay truly unique. Ferndale’s philosophy is rooted in nature and respect for the ecosystem. It is a luxury hotel where sustainability and eco-friendliness take top priority. All food is locally and organically sourced, adding to the authenticity of the experience. We also had the opportunity to meet the owner, who shared his vision with great passion and pride, making us appreciate the concept even more. The retreat is located in the breathtaking Knuckles Mountain Range, near Kandy. The untouched nature makes it a perfect destination for stunning hikes, which are thoughtfully organized by the team. Along the trails, you can discover hidden waterfalls and encounter unique endemic wildlife. Lastly, we must highlight the outstanding service and incredible food. The staff goes the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable. The meals are amazing because of the freshness of the ingredients and the dedication put into every dish. Make sure to try the icecream :-)! For anyone who loves nature, tranquility, and warm, personal hospitality, we can wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Incredible comfort and hospitality. European perfect quality. Magic nature view, clean fresh water in swimming pool, tasty and variety food, comfortable bed, silence and quiet. AMAZING view, amazing food, great and sweet staff. Really nice pool. Great walks in the area. We also visited the tea factory which was very insightful. Some grey hornbills right outside our window ♥️ We felt very comfortable and at home and at ease at Rangala House. Highly recommend to stay! Don’t doubt, book!

Even this place is little far from the Kandy City (approx 25 Km), it's a place which you must try at least once to experience the real beauty of Sri Lanka. I suggest to stay at least 2 to 3 days to fully experience the atmosphere it's worth for your every penny. The Staffs are really friendly and helpful and you you can ask for any information !!
