The place is very cool and clean! At first the jungle around seems a bit scary, but you r absolutely safe there! The family that has the place is very kind, they show us their beautiful garden. The room was really nice and clean. The breakfast was great! Everything went well and easy with the hotel. We booked a room for 3 people and then we also booked the safari through the hotel and it was super smooth. We also got the breakfast after the safari very thankful for that. The location is a bit away from everything but for us that was not a problem.

Very clean and spacious rooms! Perfect located in Udawalawe, close to restaurants and not far from the Elephant Transit Home. Janith was an excellent host, making the little extra for us. He even drove us to the Elephant Transit Home in his jeep when we asked him if it was easy to get there by TukTuk. For breakfast make sure to ask him for his mother’s delicious toast!

We had a lovely stay at Mango Tree House. Sachith and his spouse are great hosts, extremely warm and welcoming. We also loved their friendly dog Shane. The garden is beautiful. We had dinner and breakfast there and the homemade food was delicious and perfect for my husband allergic to gluten and dairy. They allowed us to shower and check out after our safari. Thank you so so much for everything I definitely recommend

We had a brilliant stay at Hasthi cottage. The cottage was very spacious, clean and had a lovely outdoor bathroom and tub. Outside of the cottage was a lovely outdoor area. The cottage was near to the main road where there were some restaurants and shops. We were picked up from Mirissa and dropped off at Ella which was organised by Dasun and was a good price. In the morning we had a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast which was very filling. A laundry service is offered which we used and our clothes were returned the very next day. We went to the national park for the safari which was an amazing day. We were provided with a delicious breakfast and lunch. Our tour guide Pereira was super friendly and awnsered all our questions. He made sure we had time to watch the animals and helped us to take some incredible photos. Overall an amazing stay and would highly recommend.
