Comfort ,Cleanliness and the amenities which they offered for this price not even expensive hotels will be provided. This one we got to know after experiencing other accommodation where we were in Sri Lanka. For Appleton Villa it’s all about service and caring while others only the money. Everything was great! We were given the most luxurious room they had with a great view of the tea plantations and the city. The room was clean, cozy, hot water and good Wi-Fi. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was bitten by a leech when I was walking around the plantations. I was immediately helped. Be sure to wear closed shoes if you are going to walk around the plantations.

The place looks just like in the pictures. The view of the lake is breathtaking, the room was very comfortable and probably the cleanest one of our 3-week travel in Sri Lanka. The hosts were exceptionally friendly, offering us all recommendations we needed and making sure we left the breakfast with our bellies filled with delicious homecooked food. Would dedinitely recommend!
