This was by far the best stay I’ve had in Weligama, even though it was just a short visit. The property was spotlessly clean, and the room was incredibly comfortable—everything felt well taken care of. The rooftop is definitely the highlight of the hotel, offering stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had—fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The staff were amazing—genuinely friendly, attentive, and always ready to go the extra mile to make sure I had everything I needed. I wish I could have stayed longer. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Weligama!

Absolutely amazing. The room was clean and spacious, very comfortable bed. We loved the pool after long trip from Colombo. Great fruit plate and tea for breakfast. Staff was very helpful. Surrounding is weird but this place is like hidden gem. Recommended!

It was nice and comfortable. It’s located next to the Jungle beach where you can swim and a few nice restaurants. It’s quiet, not too far from the center. The host was very friendly and helpful.

Me and my girlfriend recently had the pleasure of staying at the Boutique Hotel in Sri Lanka, and it was an experience we'll cherish forever. A big part of what made our stay so special was the wonderful hospitality shown by Ms. Dias, the owner, and her amazing staff. Firstly, Ms. Dias was incredibly helpful and kind. She was instrumental in organizing a birthday surprise for my girlfriend, which turned out to be absolutely perfect. Her warmth and willingness to assist in any way she could really stood out to us. The staff at the hotel were equally fantastic. Every single person, from the waiters to the chef, and even the guard, went out of their way to make us feel welcome, safe, and well-cared-for. Their friendliness and attention to detail were noticeable and made our stay that much better. Speaking of attention to detail, the food at the hotel deserves a special mention. The restaurant served some of the most delicious meals we've had. Every dish was a delight, and the chef clearly knows their craft. The breakfasts were particularly great, a perfect start to each day with a wide variety of options to choose from. The hotel itself was immaculately clean, spacious, and comfortable. The pool area was a great place to relax, and we spent quite a bit of time there enjoying the serene atmosphere. Overall, our stay at the Boutique Hotel was nothing short of wonderful. We're so grateful to Ms. Dias and her team for their exceptional service and for making our trip to Sri Lanka so memorable. We're definitely looking forward to coming back!

The owner was AMAZING! So so helpful, booking tuk tuks for me, helping me with directions, I even ordered a takeaway and he let me use his phone number so the delivery driver could find me! Beds were comfy Personally I’m a cold shower girl but they had hot showers too! Two very sweet dogs at the entrance Fridge, freezer, washing machine and kitchen to use Lovely garden Cheap bike rental

Villa Hillcrest is perfect for travellers looking for some downtime, as it is a super relaxing place nestled in the hills outside Weligama. A couple of kilometers away from Weligama beach and with some steep lanes leading up to it, it may be a little difficult to get to and fro from the beach via tuktuk, especially at night. With that said, it's a property that you would absolutely love if you want to simply lounge in the pool, enjoy a spacious villa to yourself and eat at the property itself. The pool is amazing, with a direct view of greenery overlooking Weligama beach. The food was delicious, and the staff is super helpful. We had a great conversation with the manager, and he made us some delicious off-menu mocktails as well on request!

I had an amazing stay here at River Post Co-Working & Co-Living Weligama. The room was very clean, I was able to check in early, they have an AMAZING massage therapist based on site, the location is right beside the river with a great view, and the host Manoj is very welcoming. There is also free parking and an in-house breakfast is available. I would highly recommend this place for an affordable and relaxing visit to Weligama! 😊

The dorms were very clean and spacious. The location was ideal too, it was just a 10 minute walk to the beach. Definitely recommend for either solo travelers or a group of friends looking for a convenient base in Weligama.

It’s a good enough place for the price you pay. It was almost clean, with basic amenities. But the location is very good, just next to the perfect surfing spot and also a nice natural pool that is very good for swiming. You can give it a go if you are on a budget.

very nice and helpful owner. very clean. good location in beautiful surroundings. it has a mosquito net. the beach is only a few minutes' walk away. good shared kitchen with a fridge. very practical; scooters can be rented cheaply there. I appreciate the family atmosphere and will gladly come back here.
