Staffs are welcoming and very helpful. Location is perfect - a mix of privacy and convenience. It takes only 5 min walk to reach the Armenian street. Bread served from the Continental Bakery was awesome. Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Heritage Villa by Aayu. The villa was centrally located which made it incredibly easy to explore the streets of George Town by foot and there are amazing food stalls at every turn. Our room was well appointed and had everything we required for a comfortable stay including a very effective air conditioner. The host was proactive and made check in a breeze, providing a suggested itinerary and a number of online maps. Everyone at the villa was so kind but one of the highlights was meeting Desmond who had so much knowledge about the area and was always keen to hear about our plans for the day provide suggestions to enhance them. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The location was great! It was so easy to get out and explore. My room and the whole place was very clean, wifi was very fast, had plug adaptors so I could plug in multiple things at once. Common areas are plenty and comfortable. The staff were very friendly! They recommended a great itinerary for the duration of our stay, and also recommended nice places to eat. It seems hard to find a place with a window in Georgetown - while the windows in my room couldn't open, they let in plenty of natural light

We loved our stay here. Everything you could need and more. Great value for money. Very comfortable and plenty of bathrooms available. Lovely personal touches from the note left in your room, earplugs and toothbrush set and lovely local bread. Shane was incredibly helpful via what’s app and Desmond was so helpful on the morning of our checkout! Both very friendly and would love to stay here again!!

It's very spacious, clean, and the pods offered a lot of privacy. There's free washing machines and drying racks for laundry which is very helpful. The kitchen is very clean and appliances are new. It's a perfect stay really.

    The friendly cat residents made our stay very special! So did the cosy and homely atmosphere of the guesthouse. The staff we met were all friendly and welcoming. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The shared showers and toilets were spotless. The shared kitchen included a hot & cold water dispenser which was most useful. The location is excellent - walking distance to the key sights as well as fantastic restaurants. Nothing not to like!

    My friend and I had a lovely stay at Aayu Melayu for 3 nights. Great location to explore Georgetown, close to the heritage centre and countless restaurants and cafes. The building itself is a lovely guesthouse and our room was spotless and bathrooms very clean. Shane and his staff were so helpful both in advance via WhatsApp and once we arrived and they offered lots of great recommendations. Would highly recommend our stay here. Thank you!

    It was easy to deal with the host. The host facilitated check-in and check-out. Even allowed us to leave our luggage since we arrived early. Great location. Gurney Plaza was just across from the apartment. The apartment was very clean and just nice for the five of us. It's definitely a place to come back to. Although located in a busy area, steps were taken to ensure safety of guests with their security protocol.
