Very quiet location. Comfortable, clean room. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and busses to all ends of the country. Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Great little comedor on site for a good value, tasty breakfast.

Lovely place a short walk from the San Jose port, we really liked this quiet little place and it was great value for money, the owners were really nice and helpful. The wind off the lake keeps the room cool and insects away.

This hotel is a fantastic choice for a beach getaway. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The beach is just a few minutes away, with great surfing spots within walking distance. The hotel also offers surfboards to rent. The staff is incredibly friendly and made me feel very welcome. Highly recommend :)

The hostel is really close to where the ferry gets and everything else in Moyogalpa. Staff was lovely and very helpful and we really enjoyed the peace and the swimming pool.

We absolutely loved staying at Rancho Tranquillo. It is right across the lake so you can enjoy swimming and the sunsets. Daniella & Tony are very welcoming and friendly. We had a very delicious breakfast made by Daniella. Their property is also so great, there are all types of animals running around and you can pick fresh mangoes from their mango tree. They were also kind enough to let us leave some of our luggage so that we could rent a scooter more easily and travel around the island.

    The room was big and AC worked well. The bed was comfortable and the shower was big and had very good water pressure. Washing machine was a bonus. Hosts - amazing! Helped us with every little detail and speak fluent English. Kitchen is basic but ok for preparing meals. The location was ok, we stayed there as base to visit Ometepe Island, so worked for us.

    Run by a nice couple who go out of their way to keep guests happy. Very good wifi. Kept clean and everything functioned well. Cute little dog. Location is not far from the central square. Adequate shared showers and bathrooms so guests do not need to wait. Good water pressure. No hot water per se, but pleasantly refreshing as heated just enough by the water tanks on the roof.

    We have had a perfect stay. We stayed with our family. This location is perfect for family and individual travelers. Very close to the center, close to restaurants (all on walking distance). The owners are very friendly and know a lot about Rivas and Ometeppe. We recommend this place.

    Right on the central square, this is an ideal location if you're staying in Rivas. The staff were incredibly helpful, spending a long time to help us when we had car issues, even after the garage was closed l. The room was very clean and comfortable and rhe building itself is lovely.

    Excellent location for getting the bus south to Costa Rica (or north), or if coming back from / going to Ometepe. Such a kind owner who even gave us a lift to the bus in the morning! Lovely spacious clean room. Cheap. Best option in Rivas

    - The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpfull. They even drove us to the bus stop the next morning. - The apartment was comfortable and was really well equiped (stove, cooking gear, coffee machine, etc) - We had a nice terrace with hammocks, chairs and a table. - Strong wifi - It was very clean - The location is walking distance from Rivas bus terminal and Tica bus.
