How can we describe these days at Chital Lodge? We immediately felt at home. A place nestled in the jungle, just steps away from Chitwan National Park. We slept in a hut, surrounded by many (perhaps too many) insects, and washed with lukewarm water, but the energy of this place is indescribable. Bhisnu, the owner, is an exceptional guide, an extraordinary chef, and a wonderful person. Manoj, his right-hand man, won us over right away with his kindness and his beautiful smile. The homestay was absolutely lovely - Hari's parents and his little cousins are so open and welcoming and the food was so yummy but the biggest highlight of this stay was the Safari walk through the National Park. We saw so many animals that would have been missed if we were in a jeep and Hari's knowledge of all the animals was phenomenal Highly, highly recommend!

This is the best guesthouse I have ever been to. Manoj and his family are adorable. The food is great, the room is cosy and i loved my walking safari in the jungle where I could spot many animals. I felt like at home and wish i extented my stay because it was so relaxing ;)

I spent wonderful days there, reconnected with nature and with the projects of the region. The people are very kind, the food is always very tasty and made with local ingredients. Beautiful modern hotel in lodge style design, nice big rooms and always clean and tidy. The staff in areas of this hotel are extremely well trained and courteous. The restaurant staff are all fabulous and it would be unfair to mention any individual but can’t name them all, so a 5/5 for every single one of them. My wife used the spa for 2 treatments and she thought it was excellent with very lovely professional staff. We did two safari tours one by elephant and one by jeep., both were excellent and a special mention here for our guide Suki who was extremely knowledgeable and we were lucky to have him for both of excursions booked with the hotel. I recommend staying at the Soaltee West End to anyone who wants top level service and care from arrival to departure.
