All the staff was very professional, the room is cute with beautiful décoration, very clean and big. The bathroom was very good also. The terrasse was perfect to see the view and enjoy of outside! The dîner and breakfast were very good and the place to eat is perfect. There is a place to see a beautiful sunrise in the dunes at 20min by walk from the camp. Amazing expérience!

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Bidiyah, SandGlass Camp is a luxury tent surrounded by views of the city.

A magical place, no other camps nearby. Said is a wonderful host, he met us to guide us to the campsite We enjoyed beautiful dates, tea, and coffee and then walked up the dunes to watch a great sunset. Our dinner was beautiful - fish, chicken shwarma, bread, rice, hummus, dips, melon....we were the only ones to stay and slept under the stars rather than the tent.

Sand Delight Camp is located in the desert of Waheba Sands in Oman. It is surrounded by sand dunes. Free tea and coffee is provided throughout the day.

Ome of the best stay in Oman, The simple tent without airconditioning was nice and not too hot (at least at night) even in mid may. The staff was extremely friendly and kind and a pleasure to talk to. Location is magic the sunset on the top of the dune close by is spectacular and the stars at night are so many … Really good dinner and breakfast I would be back anytime!

We had a great time in this camp. It's located a bit further then other camps, which ensures privacy and peace. The camp has a cozy common area where you can socialize with other guests and drink tea/coffee and eat dates. The beds in our tent were the most comfortable we slept in all Oman. Our host Saíd speaks fluent English and is ready to answer all your questions about the desert, beduin life, camels and so on. He also took us dune bashing (riding in 4x4 car across the dunes - great fun) and to see the sunset in the most beautiful place. They really went out of their way to make our stay in the camp special. They made delicious traditional dinner for us and then we sat around the fire and drummed and danced traditional dances. I can totally recommend.

We had an unforgettable experience here, like in a fairy tale from the Arabian Nights amidst the breathtaking desert dunes, we experienced genuine, warm hospitality. We checked into a villa that we were told was ours and were looked after by Tushar, who was invisible, very respectful of privacy and yet always there when we needed him. He explained that the owner of the house, Mohammed, had told him that it wasn't about money, the only important thing was that the guests were happy and that they were treated like family. The landlord, Mohammed himself, took us into the desert and treated us to a big dinner in the middle of the dunes, and when a sandstorm came up, Mohammed even conjured up an innovative shelter for us out of flying carpets. On the day of our departure, we were surprised by Mohammed and his children who visited us with presents, we experienced the great hospitality of Oman first hand and felt at home, and now, back home, we miss it very much.

We had some troubles to reach the camp with our 2wd car. Thanks to Hamid we finally reached the camp. Although there was no other people, but us we spent an emerging evening with delicious dinner. We had fruits and coffee, we did some stars gazing, we enjoyed the fire. Hamid did for us delicious bread on the fire. Evening was great. Thanks a lot.

This camp was the absolute highlight of our 2-week trip to Oman! As far as I can tell, it is one of the only camps where you are completely alone—without any other guests or neighbors in sight or within hearing distance. It is situated slightly elevated on a dune, surrounded by more dunes to explore or to watch spectacular sunsets from. At night, the starry sky appears in a way you may have never seen before. The accommodation provides everything you would expect in a regular hotel room, making the stay very comfortable (electricity and running water are not a given in all camps, but here we even had air conditioning). The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and practical. The outdoor area features a fire pit where we sat in the evening, enjoying a book by the fire. The food was excellent and can be ordered through the host, who delivers it to the accommodation right on time. We never knew what menu to expect, but everything was delicious—just trust the host, he really knows what’s good! Bring a healthy appetite because the portions are huge! Drinking water is available at the camp, so there’s no need to worry about that. We also booked a desert excursion through the camp, driving up and down the dunes in a 4x4 (we didn’t drive ourselves). A huge thank you to Nassr, who showed us the best spots and even brought a sandboard for us to have some fun in the sand. Later, he prepared a BBQ for us under what felt like the only two trees in the entire desert.
