I had a great stay at Balai Balatong while on a business trip. The room was well-maintained, and the bed was super comfortable. The service was excellent, and the swimming pool was a great bonus. Looking forward to my next visit!

The setting of this hotel resort property in Ilocas Norte was stunning. Nice room. Authentic Spanish colonial doors and trim. The clean, well-maintained Infinity pool and Vista over the lake toward the former "northern Malacang" (which apparently has a museum dedicated to Marcos) were hard to beat. A rare find and a peaceful getaway! Good meals (dinner and breakfast). Management was very professional, and friendly in conversation. Rooms have great air-conditioning.

The location is nice and clean. Place is near a very good restaurant "Cusine de Iloco". There is an outdoor space where you can have snacks and coffee. Thumbs up for the host. Even with a couple of hours notice, the host arrange a transfer out service for us upon our request. Will definitely stay here again for our future trips.

Kuya Alcie and the staffs are very much approachable and accomodating. If you want a quiet and relaxing place, i strongly recommend Al's place. It is also few minutes drive to the tourist spots so movement is convenient. It's a 'home away from home'.....will definitely go back in this place.
