The property is well designed so as not be over crowded. You could definitely have a relaxing stay here. The place does not look commercial at all. It has a nice well maintained infinity pool. It is actually located at the top of a cliff, which makes it very unique. There are stairways to go to the bottom of the cliff accessing the sea where you could actually swim during low tide. You could also enjoy watching the sunrise here. The staff (led by Gina and Shaina) are few but exceptionally helpful. I actually learned that Gina and her hubby runs the property. They were very accommodating (within reason) on our needs and kept the property clean. They also run a kitchen so you could actually order all your meals without leaving the property. The food are reasonably priced and has generous serving. Most of the food are traditional Filipino foods but they have some international as well. They actually also have a car pick up service.

Virly and Javier were very accommodating hosts. We felt very welcome and they took the time to chat with us and explain the local culture and island life. We booked their hotel (gorgeous bamboo finishings throughout) while we were on the ferry and it was one of the best locations we stayed at during our 2-week trip in the Philippines. The only thing I'd indicate for improvement is that it was a little tricky to find - perhaps a signage before the dirt road to the resort would help travellers find their way to this little slice of paradise. Amazing location, private and very peaceful. The room was clean and spacious, and the view was fantastic. Here you can follow the sunrise and watch the sunset with a cup of tea. The resort has a smaller beach right next to it, which you basically have to yourself. Other beaches and restaurants are available by foot not far away. Cristina and Bill were very kind and helpful, let me ride with them to San Francisco and provided me with everything I needed. The breakfast was also very good, especially the French toast! Camotes Cay Hideaway and Cristina and Bill gave me a memorable experience. Will without doubt book Camotes Cay Hideaway again if I ever come back to Camotes!
