Very clean and nice apartment in Ilha. It’s a great place to stay if you’re planning to hike to Pico Ruivo the next day. The host was very friendly and gave us great restaurant recommendations in Santana.

Very nice host, even though we arrived almost at midnight he was waiting for us with the home made liqueur and madeira cake:) and after he was treated us with delicious local fruit. The house is very comfortable, kitchen well equipped. There are radiators in both of the bedrooms which is reaaly important this part of the year.

The place is absolutely beautiful, even it is far from everything (you have to drive to get somewhere). It is like a rural area of small village so not many stuff around but the view in the morning from windows was just spectacular. Staff was helpful and really nice. The breakfast was good enough to get your day started. I really enjoyed the bed, I could sleep in there all day. if you like calm spot with a amazing view, this is your place.
