Lovely house, completely new, in the nice village of Paul do Mar. really appreciated the well-furnished kitchen and the 3 bathrooms. Very nice the balcony with sea-view. Easy to park in the street close to the house. The host was very supportive. Highly recommended.

It's a nice apartment on the lower part of Prazeres. You will have a view on the sea and on some parts of the mountains. Lucky, there's a parking lot right next to the house and you only need 8 minute by foot to the next supermarket and pizza restaurant. The owner is very friendly and I was greeted with a clean apartment. There's a kitchen but it's only missing an oven. On the other hand, there are 2 big bedrooms, each with an own bathroom (shower and bathtubs). From there you reach Funchal within 45 minutes by car and the streets are in good condition. I made some hikes in the area and if you're not with a car, taxi (Bolt) there is no problem. Be careful about bus stops as I had trouble to find them. Overall I enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to everyone who likes to have a quiet environment and a more rural experience. For a more organised daily life, a clothes rack at the entrance would be nice so I don't need to put my jacket away in the bedroom.

We spent enjoyable 10 days in this apartment. This is actually a half of the house with very spacious rooms, so it is comfortable even for bigger groups as it gives a lot of privacy. There are two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a small living room with a sofa. The house was very clean, did not have a typical Madeira damp smell, so it is a big plus. The kitchen was well equipped, there were some basic kitchen ingredients as spices or oil, which we very much appreciated, so we did not have to buy that. There was a welcome gift in the form of a cake and some juice. We used the washing machine several times and it is kept clean with no signs of mold. The outside terraces are lovely and have a nice view over the ocean and the hills. I would say overall the apartment looks even better than the pictures provided. There was a safe parking space in front of the entrance behind a closed gate, so we did not have to worry about the rental car getting scratched. The gate is quite narrow and it takes some practice to get comfortable with driving through it, but that is a typical madeiran experience. One thing to mention is that this building is shared with the neighbors, so be respectful. The building is close to the center of the village, so there are some shops and bars within the walking distance.

It is a beautiful, well-equipped tiny house with a large, private out-door terrace and a stunning view of the ocean. The house has a private parking and it is easy to reach if you type THEO'S HOUSE (it is the accommodation next to it, across the narrow street) on your google map. The bed is really comfortable, the internet connection is good, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need and the shower has good water pressure with more then enough hot water for two people (we showered, we washed the dishes and we didn't run out of hot water). You have all the bathroom essentials provided, clean towels, all the plates and pots you need – a really good place for longer stays, too. Yes, maybe the out-door furniture is a bit old, but really everything is functional, you also have access to a washing-machine, you have free bird-tv every morning and night (we really enjoyed watching the birds during our breakfasts outside) and the view is unbeatable – I cannot imagine what more you can ask for the price. The host is a lovely lady and she was very responsive via WhatsApp. Ponta do Pargo is 9 km away, Achadas da Cruz 17 km away (I really recommend taking the cable car there and have a long stroll on the beach, really beautiful place and not that crowded), Porto Moniz, Seixal and Fanal forest are 30-35 km away. If you like to spend your days on the beach, Paul do Mar, Jardim do Mar and Calheta are only 9-10 km away. Prazeres – a quaint, little village is only 4 km away and has some really nice, quiet restaurants and a decent supermarket as well (for a larger one, you can go to Calheta). I would definitely stay here again, it was lovely.

The location is great - quiet, peaceful, great view of the ocean. Pleasant and quality accommodation, kind and attentive host! Everything was top notch and we would love to return again (and this was our sixth time in Madeira). We were extremely satisfied and look forward to the "next time"! :-)

Great location with amazing ocean view! Albino was always available and ready to help. Private garage is very helpful as there’re issues overall with parking on the island. Kitchen and terrace are very convenient to have some food at home.

Everything was more than perfect. We would give it 12 bonus instead of 10 :) The location is only few minutes from the sea and you can hear the sea wawes from your window. The beds are very comfy, the apartment is very clean. Coffy and chocholate are a great bonus. Very good place for families with kids, because of a big yard and a playground. Many thanks for the owners for such a good stay!
