United KingdomPerched on a hill with a panoramic view of Nyungwe forest, this is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding national park. The pictures online don’t do this place justice!
We had a wonderful stay for 2 nights here - from a delicious welcome drink on our arrival to cleaning our boots after a days hiking and hot water bottles in the beds at night, the staff were all excellent!
The food was great and we were offered a choice of taking our breakfast early before chimpanzee tracking or taking it to go - normally packed hotel breakfasts are disappointing but this was one of the best - freshly prepared fruit, pizza, cookies and cakes - it was delicious and perfect after a mornings hiking!
If you are coming to Nyungwe Forest National Park (which is a must if you visit Rwanda!) then you absolutely have to stay here!
