We like that they have dinner,breakfast, and lunch prepared for us. We actually did not expect them to prepare it for us. We got there after a long rainy day walk and a personnel welcomed us. And gave us detailed information about our room and where to find our food. They made a very tasty lasagna with beer for dinner. And they also left sandwiches for us for breakfast and lunch. That was a huge help. Thank you.

Frösön Park is the former Officers' Mess at the former Frösön Air Base. It has two fighter planes guarding the hotel as a reminder of its past. The hotel is newly renovated with spa, pool, and a good restaurant. All hotel guests have free access to the restaurant. It is close by the airport, but located lower than the runway so there is no noise from aircraft disturbing you. The rooms are spacious and quiet.

We stayed in Ytterån to enjoy skiing at Åre Resort and to explore the surroundings of Östersund. It was the perfect choice. The apartment was very warm and clean, with all the essentials provided. It was also decorated for the Christmas holidays. There was convenient parking, and starting the morning with a cup of coffee by the river dam nearby was a real pleasure. While there’s no store in the village itself, reaching any nearby shop is easy and convenient. The drive to Åre takes less than an hour. Along the way, we spotted a hare, a fox, moose, and deer, making the journey feel like an adventure. We had an unforgettable stay and would gladly return!
