Sobe Prostija is right in the centre of Ptuj next to the tower. Until 2016 a monastery, it was converted in recent years into guest rooms. The protected building from 1510 was lovingly restored, and all rooms are completely modernised. Located between the castle and the main square, it is ideally located to explore the town. Due to the new windows and the thick walls, it is one of the quietest hotels I have ever been. Our host gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel like friends and not mere guests.

Very nice location into the hills… cool weather…. Easily accessible from the town center…. My son enjoyed a lot playing with their pet dog “Bobby”. Very good breakfast….. everything organic…. No negative comments at all.

We were received like friends with a full appartment. Food for breakfast and toiletries was all there. Together with wine as a welcome drink. We had a nice evening with the hosts and shared our dinners together. When we left we were like family. I can saybthat I have been on a lot of places. A well equipped, very nicely furnished and comfortable house, perfect size for up to 4 people. Some details (like fresh flowers, nicely folded towels, fridge contents) make you feel extra pampered. The photos are good, but it looked even nicer in person. Also has a nice little terrace we didn't notice in the photos. One of the best equipped kitchens I've encountered while renting. The host is very kind as well, highly recommended!

We loved the apartment, it's huge and the beds were really comfy, we both got two great nights sleep! It's really well equipped and the location is really quiet. Mateja really cares about her guest and she gave us lots of tips for the area and was very responsive to our questions. We would 100% recommend and if staying in this area again this is where we would book.
