We loved Angel (the host). She was so helpful and we were allowed to leave our luggage for the whole day after check out. The location was perfect, aside the trouble but in short walking distance of the main tourist attractions of Stone Town. The room was really clean, the ac works and the breakfast was good. We felt like home there and will come back next time!

The communication with the owner was very fantastic. They were so helpful, and let us check in earlier. The place was very comfortable for us given that we had kids. The location is perfect. The apartment is well equipped. It's definitely worth it, and l would book it again. All the utilities were working perfectly. I recommend it to all who want to spend some time in Zansibar.

What an absolute gorgeous gem of a hotel in Stone Town. Truly authentic building and decor and incredible bedrooms. I stayed in the ‘Kate’ room which was utterly delightful. Beautiful private terrace overlooking the town, enormous bedroom (beautifully decorated) and an open-air bathtub adjoining. Super private. Gorgeous to wake up in the morning and open the doors and feel the breeze filter through. Beautiful bed linen and towels (woven locally) and handmade soaps. If you are into aesthetics, then this is the place for you. I can’t say enough to rate the hotel. All the staff were absolutely delightful and super attentive (as a single female traveller it was very much appreciated). The Manager was extremely kind and friendly. Also organised a fantastic private tour of the town for me which was brilliant. The rooftop restaurant is to die for. The best, authentic and freshest of food I have ever eaten.The taster plate experience with sunset and cocktails was dreamy. Amazing views and ambiance. Didn’t want it to end! The Secret Garden restaurant is also absolutely worth a visit. I attended on a Friday evening when there was live music being performed. Truly magical. Again, the food was just amazing and the staff all super kind.
