The OYA guesthouse is a very nice little place to stay. Jacky, the accommodation manager, looks after her guests wonderfully. The breakfast is beautifully prepared and there is fresh fruit and egg dish. She will prepare a delicious traditional dinner on request. Jacky will help with questions and also assist with organizing excursions. The rooms are beautifully furnished and the accommodation is very clean. A beautiful terrace and a garden are also part of the accommodation. We will come again.

I promised to come back because I was so happy with my last stay here. Now I had the opportunity to taste more of their delicious food and do some of the activities. This is the perfect lodge to escape the usual bubble of Tanzania safari tourism. The lodge is run by the in partnership of the Watoto Foundation, which actively improves and improves the life of street children in Tanzania. - Food was good and prepared with love and care. - Breakfast was great, lot of fresh fruit, eggs to order and big portion - Dinner was served in multiple courses. All nice, daily changing menu - The lodge is run by solar energy so expect romantic lighting and a positive feeling of remoteness. My highlights were: - Coffee walk with local guide and women from the neighbouring village preparing coffee from green bean to roasting and brewing while singing Tanzania songs. - Reading, meditation and spending time in the Tea room with view on the picture perfect swamp… waiting for the hippo to come by. - Looking at the sky at night while sitting by the outside fireplace - Visit of the neighbouring National park

Stayed overnight with my husband to leave to the airport the following day. Host was attentive and very friendly. The food is amazing. Breakfast was included but we decided to purchase lunch best decision ever. A 3 course meal was freshly prepared. Service was spectacular felt like I was at a 5 star hotel. Cabin was clean and had everything necessary. Will be leaving fully rested and with a happy tummy lol!

It’s a wonderful place that went way above our expectations. Very Comfortable house with 2 bedrooms and a beautiful garden. Fully equipped with everything you need. There was even food for breakfast soft drinks and beer in the fridge. The place is way above African standards in terms of cleanliness and decorum. And it’s at very reasonable price.
