I slept in the Overlook Lodge. The room was clean and the view on the lake was amazing. Even if outside was pretty cold, the room was warm and very clean. I had no problem parking neither at the Inn and at the Lodge. Even with the snow and the ice, with the car was easy to reach both location. Other than the room, I tired the services of both the Hikers' Cafe and the second floor bar. They were both very good in terms of price-quality ratio, with plenty of possible choices. The location, generally speaking, is amazing. The staff was helpful and easy going.

Interesting historic inn in the Hudson highlands. Very nicely preserved and maintained. Room was comfortable, quiet, clean, well appointed. Everything works properly (not always assured in these very old inns!). Breakfast excellent: custom cooked on the spot; nice airy dining room. Very close to Storm King Arts Center.

It was beautifully decorated and superbly clean. The rooms were very spacious and I'd highly recommend this property to anyone. We had the best fun and felt right at home. The coffee was terrific and with a full size refrigerator and supermarket nearby it was perfect for weary travellers to cook their own food. A great benefit is it is walkable to the North Plank Road Tavern (the perfect place for amazing cocktails and brilliant food).
