I arrived way in advance of check in time but was able to take a shower and leave my backpack until my room was ready. When I arrived back at the guesthouse to check in I was given an amazing upgrade; a lovely little apartment with my own kitchen and private toilet! Such a nice surprise. Hosts were kind and helpful and helped arrange a shared taxi for me to my next destination. As others have noted, the location is a bit further from the city center, bit the walk is quiet easy and the location is really nice and peaceful.

The room was large and clean, the facilities were in good condition. The staff, Allambergen and Farida in particular, were very kind and helpful, really went out of their way to accommodate the guests. Overall, great value for money. If you're looking for tours in and around Nukus, the hotel is offering some, seemingly significantly cheaper than the average market price (however I didn't book with them, so can't vouch for the actual quality) - might wish to check with them before booking elsewhere.
