AustraliaLovely, clean room with private bathroom ; a very comfortable single bed and nice linens, wifi is good, air con great, lots of hot water in the shower; great buffet breakfast, quiet with a lovely garden (pool was not filled but still lovely). Taxi into the centre only 20,000 SOM. Staff is lovely, friendly and kind and a car took me to the share taxi terminus for my journey to Qarshi. 3 restaurants close by for dinner too.

The hotel is a bit far from the city, but it nestled in a neighborhood and gives you a sense of the traditional-Uzbek mahalla. It is easy and inexpensive to get a Yandex or taxi to the city center from the hotel. However this was more than compensated by the extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff at the reception. The rooms are huge for the price you pay and it is in a quiet, residential suburb. Easy to grab a taxi outside to the city centre or airport but without all the noise and dust of the city centre. Just across the road is an excellent cafe and also a fish restaurant and a shop for supplies is just two minutes away. Very clean, friendly and welcoming.
