Location was great for ado elephant park and scotia safari. Southern entrance to ado is about 2 miles away. Scotia about 15 minutes drive. Port Elizabeth airport about 30 mins away. Property was in a safe location and rooms were great. If we were to go again, we would stay at least 3 nights and go to ado on day one and scotia on day 2. Property owner was great.

Our stay at Addo River Den in Colchester was an absolute dream. Celebrating our first-year anniversary, we were greeted with a cozy room, clean sheets, and an outdoor fireplace that set the perfect mood. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made sure we felt right at home. The cherry on top was the amazing breakfast included in our package, featuring freshly baked scones, flapjacks, and a well-stocked coffee station. The variety of cheeses and jams made each morning delightful. When my car broke down, the owner was a real lifesaver, offering assistance and a great conversation. Addo River Den is truly a gem, and we can't wait to return.

Peaceful and beautiful setting. Spacious and comfortable accommodation. Nicely decorated. A little home away from home. Very helpful, polite and friendly host. Super friendly locals at the neighbourhood pub where we had dinner. We had a lovely stay.

Our family had the most pleasant stay! James & Bela are great hosts and were super accommodating and helpful. The two rooms are set up for everything you might need to make your stay comfortable and able to 100% self cater. It is also exceptionally clean and the beds super comfy. The food was very good and the menu was imaginative and varied which was nice for those on a longer stay. Both management and all the staff team alike were warm, efficient, kind and caring, and nothing we asked for was too much trouble. The atmosphere is relaxed and we felt very much at home. We were self driving in the Addo park each day, and it was only a few minutes drive from Woodall so it was great to have some time game watching and then come back for a swim or spa treatment and laze in the lovely garden or on our private terrace.

We stayed one night at the guest house at Suma's Rest and it was an ideal location to visit Addo elephant park. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, and we felt welcome and well looked after.

We had a wonderful stay this weekend! The house is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, cozy, and wonderfully decorated. Martha and her husband were such warm and welcoming hosts, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious and such a lovely touch. Highly recommended!
