It would have been nice to check in a bit earlier. I wanted to rest an hour or two before my work event started at 16:00. I didn’t have a lot of time to enjoy the facilities between checking in and checking out. But the rest of it was nice. It is a very big and comfortable unit to stay in. Beautifully decorated and very convenient with the self catering facilities. I met the host briefly and she was very pleasant to talk to.

Beautiful sea and sunset view, walking distance to beach and fynbos area, quiet and peaceful. Heide was a very friendly, accommodating and helpful host and gave a lot of advice and suggestions on different activities and place's to visit in the area. She also recommended different sea food options, helped to source them and advised on how they should be prepared. We were also treated to a sushi making evening by Heide. The house is very comfortable and can easily accommodate 2 families with children. I really recommend at staying at Scenic Bliss!!

We had a fantastic weekend at Sunset Splendour! Even though the worst winter storm was brewing outside,we were happy to enjoy everything that the house had to offer - a hot jacuzzi,pool table,many games,lovely braai and spacious living room and kitchen. Dee was a wonderful host! We hope to come back every year!
