Excellent value for money. Staff were very friendly and kept the unit spotless during our drives in the park. In the extreme heat of December, the air conditioning units worked flawlessly. Great for a family of 4 with 2 kids or 3 adults. Would highly recommend.

Our stay at Sunbird Lodge was fantastic. Its location in a tropical garden and proximity to Phalaborwa Gate made the two days we spent there relaxing and enjoyable. The absolute best thing was the host Dave, kind and caring, always ready to share a talk and a laugh. He booked us game drives and gave tips on navigating the Kruger ourselves. Everything was beyond expectation, I highly recommend a stay here if you get the opportunity. Every detail and bit of care put into your stay is so special both Butch and the owner are just so friendly and accommodating we couldn't have asked for a better stay and this is now our new no.1 spot to stay moving forward. The tents are amazing and you are short of nothing on your stay they have truly thought of it all.
