We had a wonderful stay at the Skyline Curated Hotel. Our room on the 33rd floor was very spacious, quiet, and clean. It also had a great view of the Yangtze River and the skyline - a true wow! Jackson, the Service Manager, and his staff were all extremely welcoming and helpful. Jackson personally took us around the city to show us the important sites, as we only had 1-1/2 day to explore Chongqing. He also helped us find a restaurant serving our favorite Chinese delicacy - bird's nest - and even arranged for our clothes to be washed, saving us time! The Skyline offers 5-star service for an affordable price - we highly recommend this hotel!

Wuyu Hotel Independent villa- Immersive Chinese Cultural Experience ligt in Chongqing, op 3,9 km van Hongyan Revolution Memorial Hall en 6 km van Witte Residentie, en is voorzien van een tuin en... I was looking for a non-hotel kind of situation. Didn't want to go through a lifeless reception area and then to the room. This place envelops you in warmth as soon as you enter. The reception are is perfunctory - entrance shows you a library and a serving platform ahead. All of it tells you that you will be treated as a member of the family and not another customer. And then there are the people whether it is the cleaning lady, the cook aunty, the receptionist and most importantly the concierge who speaks English. We were lucky to have Lucky as our concierge and she went beyond the basic interaction- gave us tips on places to visit ( all of it were just the right one for us), places to eat and she did something beyond what is expected of her. She arranged a tea ceremony where we could interact with out Chinese relatives while Lucky translated. This touched us a great deal and made our stay special. A bit about the breakfast. Please go hungry for the breakfast. There is so much to eat and try. The rice cakes, dumplings, congee and do not miss the noodles the aunty delivers. They made all efforts to give us vegetarian stuff. The noodles are the best here...
