The rustic yet elegant design perfectly complements the natural beauty of the desert. The pools (yes, plural!) are an oasis of relaxation, and floating in the cool water while surrounded by endless desert landscapes is an experience I’ll never forget. This is the perfect spot to disconnect from the chaos of everyday life. No distractions, just peace, tranquility, and the magic of the desert. The attention to detail, from the pristine cleanliness of the rooms to the thoughtful amenities, speaks volumes about the love and care Lucila and her family pour into this place. Cosmos Tatacoa is a very nice hotel calm and clean with a very nice swimming pool, the location is perfect to go visit Tatacoa désert. The owners very professionals ! The pool was really nice in the heat. Staff were really helpful and attentive. Breakfast was included! Oh and air conditioning really works!

The owner was fantastic. We are vegan and vegetarian and he went through all meals with us to make sure we were happy with what we would get and that he was making enough food for us. The hostel is about 1km from the main village but it’s very walkable both during the day and at night. Would highly recommend this place if you are going to the Tatacoa.

Perfect ecological gem in the desert! Super friendly host, pool and cool beer in the desert, beautiful cabins with openair shower - and all this eco- and budget- friendly. Ask your tuktuk-driver that takes you to the hostel to stop at the desierto rojo (about 5km away from the hostel) for 1h so that you can take a walk through this stunning landscape (if you want you can ask him to guide you).

This was such a sweet place to stay. It’s run by a lovely family who helped us with everything we needed. You walk out and you’re at the red desert and a short walk from the observatory. It was perfect for us.
