One of the best-value and friendliest places we have ever stayed in on our travels. The location is just on the edge of town, less than 10min walk from all amenities in La Fortuna, but at the same time the rooms actually overlook the forest - there were toucans and other birds just outside our room in the mornings! The staff we had contact with all made a big effort to give us all the info we needed - we had a lot of questions and they had a lot of patience with us, and helped us take full advantage of our stay in and around La Fortuna. We would like to make special mention of Armando, the hotel guide, who took us looking for sloths and also showed us some amazing frogs just behind the hotel at night - we highly recommend going on a sloth walk with him. As for the hotel itself, the room was very spacious, comfortable and quiet, the breakfast was excellent and all in all we really couldn't recommend this place enough.

Just my walking on the way to the room at night we saw so many animais. Sleeping with the sounds of the animals is amazing.

Offering outdoor pool and a hot tub, Hotel Roca Negra Del Arenal is located in the suburbs of Fortuna. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Beautiful location, very near to the volcano so we had amazing view. A bit out of busy La Fortuna but still there were shops and restaurants, it was more quiet and I love that. The garden was very pretty and full of birds, though I liked more wild gardens than so well organized ;). The room and bathroom were huge and very comfy. Strong wifi. Very friendly staff. Nice jaccuzzi :).

We loved the design of the Retreat, every villa was perfectly isolated with plants. The view of the Arenal vulcano from the room was the cherry on the cake together, of course, with the bathroom.

Το Green Noise Glamping είναι ένα κατάλυμα με κήπο, βεράντα και δωρεάν WiFi, το οποίο βρίσκεται σε Fraijanes, μόλις 8,9 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Εθνικό Πάρκο Poas. The location is great for ventures to close-by attractions. The glamping tents are decorated lovely and well appointed. The host even provided us with an electric heater as she felt it might get too cold at night. The kitchenette offered more than we expected. The close by Alboral café & bistro was a great plus with nice views and outstanding food.
