I stayed here three different times for a night, and every time it felt so welcoming – just like home. The place is designed with so many thoughtful details: a fully equipped kitchen, hair dryers, shower products, extra blankets if needed… you really feel that everything has been thought of for the guests’ comfort. The staff has been incredibly kind and helpful – they even let me leave some of my belongings a couple of times, always with such friendliness and quick responses. The automated check-in system makes everything super easy as well. For me, it’s the perfect place to stay for a night or two before exploring the rest of Costa Rica. The property is non-smoking and is set 18 km from Cerro de la Muerte. Very clean. Great hiking trails for those of us that wanted to go. Jacuzzi bath for those that didn't. Comfortable bed and couch. We had all we needed for cookware to cook for a group of 10. We didn't realize we couldn't use a credit card up there but Gravin came to the rescue and so we were able to get the food we needed at the little store there. Gravin was so accommodating and a great host! We can't wait to come back.

We had a large room, everything was very clean, staff very friendly. The food in the restaurant a few steps away was great. Breakfast at the pool was good, too. The lodge is actually even nicer in reality than shown in the photos. We needed about 35min. by car to get to the airport. We would return any time.
