I stay single room, very cheap but good. Hostal staff nice and helpful. Well location, easy walk to sightseeing, eating or shopping.

We really loved our stay at Casa Colonial Quito. It is a beautiful hotel and we stayed in the most gorgeous grand room. The staff - especially Ben - was amazing and so so helpful throughout our time there. The location is ideal as it is a few steps from Plaza Grande and close to all the spectacular sights around Quito. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning and were so glad the hotel could make us non-dairy cappuccinos when we wanted them!

staff (Maria and Maria) were wonderful. Very welcoming and there to take care of every detail. Location is ideal to get to everything. Room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Breakfast each morning was delicious. Will definitely come back and stay at this hotel!

We only stayed a night but had nice spacious, clean, comfortable room. Shared bathrooms were very clean.
Rooftop had great views of the city.
Great location close to Centro histórico.
We didn't get a chance to embrace the community side of the hostal but would encourage others to stay a couple of nights if they can to enjoy that side.

Hotel La Cierva de San Marcos is a small hotel located about a 6-minute walk from the Centro Historico. The location is quiet and there are plenty of food options in short walking distance. The owner is extremely nice and even greeted us by name when we first arrived. Rooms are very clean, comfortable, and the shower is great. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Cheap. Central location 150m from Basilica.
Good matrasses. Hot water. Equipments for cooking. Easy check-in & check-out with instructions via WhatsUp. Close to shops and restaurants. Wifi was stable. Quick response on WhatsUp from owner.
