The absolut best though is the owner and his wife, Sherif and May. You really see how much this place matters to them when they receive you and explain you every detail about how the place was built according to Nubian authenticity (while still proving a high level of comfort) and they give you THE BEST TIPS for a local experience in not only Aswan but all over Egypt. I told him his travel book would be a bestseller if he ever wrote one! He will also help you arrange everything. Also really enjoyed the early evening music with dance on the days we were there that the guests would join and get to know each other if they wanted to.
