Despite the really reasonable price, this is one of the nicer places in Lalibela. Yohannes is the owner, he is very responsive on whatsapp, he will get you anything you need, he goes to great lengths to make sure that your stay is comfortable and happy. You have to accept that this is remote Ethiopia and that creature comforts maybe somewhat limited. That said I would highly recommend this place as well as the guide that he sent me up with Moges. You will feel like family by the time you leave!

Destaw, Kidist, their children plus Lemlem, Ababech, Tesfa and Chiatu are all very helpful, knowlegeable, kind and professional. The garden and balcony are a wonderful safe Haven from the hustle and bustle of the City. Highly recommended. I shall return perhaps before the end of 2025.

The staff is incredible kind and helpful, ready to collect you from the airport.They can help you to visit the most interesting parts of the place. The food at the place is very tasty. I would highly recommend the place.
