The location is very good if you want to explore the eastern Lapland area. To move around the region you need a car although there is some public transportation. The hosts Pekka and Pauliina were there to show how everything works and they were super friendly. Would definitely recommend this place if you have a bigger family or group and you want to explore this part of Lapland!

You definitely need a car to be reaching and commuting around. We were a couple and there was plenty of room for us. We enjoyed the aspects of the cottage including the architecture, ambience, facilities and cosy feel. It was a perfect get away for us. Happy to recommend it to anyone. The personal sauna and fireplace made it even better.

We loved the location right by the lake, especially with the outdoor fire where you can cook your meals and enjoy breakfast in the morning. Everything was spotless. The host was also very kind, when we asked, he gladly washed the clothes we had from our trekking trip.
