Our hosts together made our stay. Sele is a very experienced guide who organized everything for us. He's a fun guy, he's humble and he has a great singing voice. Thank you! Sai cooks from her heart. Her food is tasty and generous... thank you! Milly is fun and friendly...she has a crazy giggly laugh and we enjoyed her happy personality..I'll miss you...."Aunty......Milly" Male, thanks for taking Michael spear fishing. Kara, loved your fish and breadfruit, and thanks for putting aloe on my sunburned legs. Our activities: Saturday - beach picnic, fish feeding and Michael went spear fishing with Male. I snorkelled to my heart's content on Nanuya beach. My highlight was seeing several anemone fish and their homes, and one coral reef was 'clicking' lots and dazzlingly spectacular with its hundreds of little fishies. Sunday - a leisurely day of rest spent with a walk to the village before attending Church. Thank you for allowing us to visit and we enjoyed worshipping at Church. Your singing was awesome. Monday - out in the tinny for a long ride to the Caves for a fun experience. Loved it all, especially the papaya on the way back. Home life: At Ravita we shared the guesthouse with 3 other guests and 2 of our hosts so there's a family feel to the stay. At night the stars are shining bright and the frogs are out on the back lawn.

The resort provides some rooms with sea views, and rooms have a balcony. The cleanliness is amazing. The property is new and the craftsmanship was excellent in the buildings and furniture. The outdoor showers at the back of each bure were amazing and the mattress was really good quality. The vibe was chill and I felt like I could properly switch off and relax. The view was stunning, the coral was great for swimming. Even got to gather some sea grapes with the locals.

Guests at the hotel will be able to enjoy activities in and around Wayasewa Island, like snorkelling. The room was bare bones compared to where I'm from, but I was very comfortable. The water in the shower is not heated, but I was fine with that. I enjoyed all the food and the staff are very friendly. Try not to be late for meal times. A heads up, the condition of the ocean, wind, and tides will affect if you can snorkel or kayak in front of the resort, but that is nature! Nothing the resort can control, so go with it. Also, there is no activities on Sunday, because it's a day of rest for the staff according to their religion. And I think that's great. I also want to appreciate how when I missed the morning reef shark snorkel experience, the resort staff arrange for me to go on a snorkel trip in the afternoon. It was possible only because the tide conditions were ok. It was so nice of the staff to arrange this for me and I am so grateful for it.

Staff, the activities they plan , specially the kava ceremony and a little live from the team. Snorkeling and kayaking we enjoyed which is free and just outside on the beach, crystal clear water. Loved Welcome and farewell songs. And room is nice and spacious. If you're in fiji - go to any islands and don't stay on the mainland as there's nothing much on mainland. I would suggest stay on different island resorts everyday and get the hop on hop off ferry pass for transports.

The resort is very nice. Even in the little Lodges they have installed an AC. The staff is very nice and helpful and the property is very nice. The two pools are good to relax if you want a bar next to you ;) Both restaurants are very good and we enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Breeze Guest House. Our host was so nice and accommodating (we LOVED the garden fresh passion fruit!). The house was very well appointed and comfortable. The gardens and pool were beautiful and the location was excellent. I would love to stay again.

The homestay comes with a flat-screen TV. The accommodation is non-smoking. Most welcoming and friendly family and very authentic village! Really good food and a lot, they even cooked vegetarian for me! Nice activities, it never gets boring. The beach is beautiful too. Small room but comfy bed with mosquito net. We would have loved to stay longer. Thank you very much Silo, Bill, Va and Rob for making our stay great! Extra info because it’s one of the first reviews: We got picked up from the ferry by boat (extra cost), very good food provided for 50FJD/day per person, bathroom simple with bucket toilet and shower in a little shelter next door, no supermarket in the village so bring what you need (mosquito repellent and sun screen!). Solar panels provide power through the day and lights, but no fan (was not too hot for us). Covering clothes and no hats/sunglasses while walking the village, beach is fine :) Bringing a gift to the chief of the village is also part of etiquette.
