Great place to stay and superb value for money. It was very clean and tidy with an en suite bathroom. It also has a kitchen area with an air fryer and fridge and a coffee machine with cups plates. It was so nice to be able to sit outside at one of the tables in the garden and enjoy the setting sun with supper. Breakfast was spectacular and prepared at the moment. We were not bothered by noise at night even though there is an adjoined pub. Perhaps that depends on the particular day of the week. The hosts were so friendly and went out of their way to help. The location requires dexterity to reach form Luton. We suggest a taxi from Luton airport if you don;t have a car.

A peaceful little English village that is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The breakfast was a true English breakfast — incredibly delicious and served in a very generous portion. Sorry again that I couldn’t finish it all afterward! 😊 Not far from the accommodation, following the host’s recommendation, we walked over to the local pub, where we enjoyed some great beers in the evening, and then returned the next day for a truly delicious lunch. The accommodation itself is beautiful and a true gem for anyone who would like to immerse themselves a little in the past. As archaeologists, this place was absolutely perfect for us. Since we are planning to return to the area next year as well, we will definitely spend another one or two nights here again. We are very happy that we chose to stay here and that we were able to relax a little in this wonderful place.

The Black Horse at Ireland boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. Neatly manicured. Lovely outdoor garden. Restaurant was modern with classic touches ; outstanding cuisine!
