The hospitality was amazing! Otto and his dad made us feel like home. Otto is an amazing chef and cooked the most delicious food! If you love birds Otto knows so much about the birds that can be found on their land and beyond. And if you love plants Otto's dad knows so much about Orchids and plants. So if you are a nature lover and love the tranquillity of the cloudforest you must stop at this place. They share a passion that is contagious. I will definitely come back.

We had the most amazing stay at Mountain’s Nest. The cabin is spotless and in the most gorgeous location, Remy + Darina are fantastic hosts and the food was absolutely amazing. We had some of our best meals on Guatemala (if not the best) at Mountain’s Nest. Semuc Champey is nearby but there’s plenty to do at the cabin as well - the view is absolutely stunning and there’s a spacious patio to relax on, plenty of board games to try, and tours/activities offered as well. We highly recommend the cacao tour where you make your own chocolate using cacao beans from the property! Can’t recommend Mountain’s Nest enough!

Little oasis of calm, good facilities and great staff. Breakfast fantastic too. They have proper hot water. When you arrive as its through a garage/car port but once you go up to the rooms floor its peaceful and very nice
