My partner and I stayed here for two nights, and would have liked to stay two weeks if we had the time. Tio is such a lovely host as is all the staff. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and help us out with anything we needed. The room was super clean and comfortable, the garden is so beautiful and lovely to relax in, the food is tasty, the coffee was so so good, and the museum and grounds in general are lovely to explore and spend time in. Highly highly recommend staying here if you are anywhere around lake Toba!

Sisingamangaraja XII International Airport is 130 km from the property. This was for sure the best place I stayed in tuk tuk! The hosts were definitely the best part, so kind and helpful. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. I had a fan, toilet paper, towel, free water refills and hot water in the shower which is rare here! It is in a quieter area but not far from delicious food. There is no direct lake access but you can access the lake from any restaurant if you order some food and ask permission :)

I loved staying at Maruba Inn! The property is clean and if you are lucky enough to book a lake view room you are in for a treat with a stunning view across Lake Toba. The beds are big and comfortable and the bathroom is large and has good pressured hot water. The staff are amazing and so friendly and helpful. They really went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and make the most of my stay. The restaurant serves delicious food, also with a great view across the lake.
