The environment here is very cosy, serene and calm. The meals were great, especially the vegetable and herbs nasi goreng (fried rice) is a MUST EAT dish at Sunset Beach Resort Weh. The area is surrounded by rice fields and it’s very beautiful to walk around for the sunset. Dila is very kind and welcoming. She borrowed us her scooter to go to the city center and she advised us on few restaurants and cafes. And we also had a chance to spend a day together. Dila showed us around Padang .. beautiful waterfall, jungles hike. The place is calm and we had a good rest. Totally recommend!

This guesthouse is truly a gem, Brian makes sure you have an amazing stay! You can tell he really cares about his guests. The room and bathroom are very clean and comfortable. The food is incredible too (plenty of vegan and vegetarian options)! I did a 2 night jungle trek with them as well and everything was very well organised, great food and fruit on the trek, comfortable campsites by the river and close to a waterfall. You could tell that the guide really enjoyed being in nature, he had so much knowledge about the animals and plants and made us feel really safe. I got a bee sting and he had magic oil that made the sting disappear in just 30 min! I had a really great stay and trek with Brian and his team and definitely recommend them and would definitely come back one day! :)

It is all about location, location, location. The view is exceptional. Room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Nice bed. Robert was a great host and super helpful. The homestay is still relatively new, but he's been in the area for years and knows it very well. Took a one day tour with him and a few other guests. It was fantastic. Things, culture, people, and places I never would have found otherwise. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Booking that turned out to be one of the best experiences in my life. The host Jhony was very helping with everything and was kind to sell me the tour for almost original price despite the fact that I’m a solo traveller. His student Lana became my guide in the jungle for two days, he was a great companion, took good care of everything, told many interesting facts and stories. We saw 9 orangutans and many other animals. Food that’s included for trekking was delicious, lots of fruits. The overall route is easy, but there were some challenging parts, and you have to be ready for inconveniences regarding sleeping or going to toilet, it’s not a luxury resort after all. Also rafting isn’t scary at all and super fun. The accommodation in the village was nice, especially for this price, bed has a curtain to protect you from insects.
