The staff once I arrived, dinner in the restaurant, facilities in the hotel, the room, the breakfast, was absolutely first class. I travel a lot in Ireland and stay in a wide range of hotels and this was by far the best in a long while! Well done!

A brand new apartment, a car park, central location, great instructions for self checkin and general advice for our stay by staff, very clean. The trains going past were interesting, some fast, some slow. An elevator a bonus with our suitcases too.

Fabulous host, Sinead thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Her attention to detail is fantastic. So generous with food items which is so welcoming. Property is in excellent condition and super clean. Highly recommend.

James has been an exceptional host. The house and accommodation are so well taken care of, with lots of details (fresh flowers and water), and had everything we needed. We will definitely come back ! Besides, we got to sleep in the bed that once belonged to Thomas Lefroy (for the ones who do not know, he was the person from whom Jane Austen got inspired when inventing Mr Darcy in her famous Pride and Prejudice). Definitely felt like being in her novel, staying at this beautiful property ! I'd like to mention that James (host) made our stay at Summergrove House unforgettable. From the welcome drink to the restaurant reservation to the nice breakfast in the morning (see picture) to our lovely conversations in the drawing room in front of the fireplace, we felt spoiled and at ease in this peaceful and quiet estate. We look forward to visiting Summergrove House again. Lodovico

The rooms were beautiful and made to be very comfortable; we had a fridge, kettle, snacks and cups/bowls/utensils. The hosts were lovely and very helpful.

From the 1st moment I fell in love with the cabin. The host was super nice, friendly and helpful. The location is perfectly away from the roads and towns so you really get the sense of Irish country side. The cabin was TOP! Neat, cosy, beautifully furnitured, had super patio for an evening drink (actually, there were two!). Beds were super comfortable and the couch was situated so you watched the sunset in ful blow! It smelled of flowers.

The luxurious nature of the place and size of the room!! I felt like I was in a private plush resort! The attendant was so kind! We were desperate for a place as we had been up for over 36 hours and my husband was falling asleep at the wheel! We were able to get in our room within 40 minutes and I’ve never enjoyed a place more!!!
