Hotel 1001 Nott is geopend in juni 2018 en biedt moderne accommodatie op 5 km van Egilsstadir. Het hotel beschikt over hot tubs in de buitenlucht met uitzicht op het meer Lagarfljót. Het was fantastisch! De omgeving, het uitzicht vanaf de kamers. De hottub , het diner, het ontbijt. Alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd!

This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available. 100/10 stay. One of our absolute favorite and most memorable places during our Iceland trip. The accommodation was so homey and well designed and spacious. Perfect for our family and baby. The restaurant was delicious and adorable as well as the breakfast. The owners were kind and thoughtful and we learned so much about the history of the lodge. The surrounding area was stunning and I would recommend everyone to stay here during their stay along the ring road!!

Blabjorg Guesthouse ligt in het vissersdorp Borgarfjördur Eystri, op 71 km van Egilsstadir. Het beschikt over een restaurant en café. Excellent resort in a beautiful small village in East Iceland. Spacious, very clean rooms with fully equipped kitchen and modern decoration. The resort offers spa facilities. The staff was polite and very friendly, especially Nicol.

Hótel Gerpir heeft gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en kamers met airconditioning in Neskaupstaður. Er is een pizza restaurant en er is gratis privéparkeren. Fijn gerenoveerd compact hotel, goed gelegen in het dorp(je). Héérlijk en onovertroffen ontbijt!

Jökla Guesthouse bevindt zich in Skjöldólfsstaðir en heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. The hosts are very nice and responsive, the electricity power went down in the morning and in just a second the host was there to fix it. Everything looks new, clean, well furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. The shower is amazing, the smell everywhere is really good. Very big place and big rooms. We enjoyed every second, wish that every guesthouse was even half as good as this one.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about our stay in the Hengifoss lodge. It's a dream to stay here. Once entered you're greeted by the warm smell of ember caused by the wood that was used to make this house. The colours and the layout of the room is incredibly cosy. The fireplace keeps the house (almost too) warm, and the window + terrace give an exceptional view over the lake and mountains. The hosts are also amazing and gave us the feeling that we're not only welcome, but also that they really understand why we chose to go to Iceland. We asked for help with our fireplace and the host, Isabelle, came to the rescue. She tried to help us to lit a fire but to no avail. We did however have a really good conversation. However when she left, we were content enough. Yet still she knocked on the door and winked us to come over. She told us enthusiastically that the Northern Lights were dancing and fully visible, we had to come outside! The next morning it was kind of raining, a little bit. But the sun was also shining through the clouds. The husband, Steff, called me when I was standing on the terrace. He said: "There is a rainbow there!" and pointed towards slightly behind the house I was standing in front of. I walked to the side and indeed saw a beautiful rainbow. This might not say much to other people wanting to stay there. But to me it feels like these people have such a connection with Iceland, its beauty and understand that we are there for the same connection, they told us to look at beautiful views which Iceland offers, and we were delighted to follow their guidance. Thank you Isabelle and Steff, for the warm welcome. Whenever we're in Iceland and planning to go near Eggs, we will definitely make use of your beautiful little houses.

Undiraldan - Steinholt, old music school ligt in Seyðisfjörður in de regio Oostelijk IJsland, en heeft een patio en uitzicht op de stad. Supermooie en zeer gezellige inrichting!!! Hele mooie locatie in gezellig klein dorpje!

Hengifosslodge Skáldahús is gelegen in Egilsstaðir, op 5,9 km van Hengifoss-waterval, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op het meer. Daniel is een zeer goede gastheer die je veel over de omgeving kan vertellen. Het was een ruim appartement met een mooi uitzicht en van alle gemakken voorzien, de bedden lagen heerlijk.

Greystone summerhouse ligt in Egilsstaðir, op 37 km van Hengifoss-waterval, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de bergen. The location and very nice view, spacious house. Easy check in

Húsey Hostel & Horsefarm ligt op 55 km van Egilsstadir. Het hostel heeft familiekamers. De kamers van het hostel hebben een gedeelde badkamer met een douche. De locatie was super mooi. Personeel was aardig. We hebben de paardrijtocht gedaan, dit was een echte aanrader. Landschap rondom de boerderij is erg mooi.
