Guest House Ken-Ken bevindt zich in Hota, en heeft een tuin. Er is een terras en je kunt er gebruik van maken gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Goede prijs, vriendelijke ontvangst. Het is wel een accomodatie waarvan de eigenaar er zelf woont: je bent dus echt te gast in zijn huis en voel je wel een beetje. Het is een zeer sympathieke man en hij gaat echt de extra mile voor zijn gasten dus dat is op zich niet erg als je dit weet op voorhand. Huis en kamer zeker in orde en goede prijs/kwaliteit. Gratis ritje gekregen naar de supermarkt even verderop voor ontbijtinkopen. Vlakbij Mount Nokogiri en vlakbij strand ook (wel niet geweest dus kwaliteit ervan ken ik niet). De eigenaar heeft bijna alle landen van de wereld bereisd.

Peaceful retreat from the nearby convention. Beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. Lovely view of the incoming trains and foot traffic of the train station nearby, just far enough away to not be noisy. Delicious breakfast.

It's super clean and new (very clean!). It was very quiet and peaceful. The kitchen appliances were complete and beautiful. The entire house was nicely designed. Very open concept layout and spacious. The balcony was outstanding for breakfast on a sunny day. Check in was smooth and parking was spacious.

ReLA 柏駅北 is gelegen in Kashiwa, op 13 km van Tojo House, 13 km van Tojogaoka Historical Park, en 13 km van Misato Sky Park. Only a small walk form the station, the apartment was what I expected for the fee and in the Japanese environment (clean, well designed, light and fresh). I have stayed in many places over the years I have been travelling to Japan. There are a number of Family Mart shops for daily stocks and a street food shop before reaching the ReLA location too. Security was excellent. Working in IT Security, I know full well the pitfalls of poor security, especially digital door access codes. When I arrived at reception (Digital Automated), it was very useful to have access to free WiFi to retrieve my email with all the information for the booking. I had been travelling for over 24 hours, therefore I was not prepared to wade through any pre-printed documentation I had prepared for myself. In the apartment itself, cooking and eating requirements were all catered for, except no cups for tea. Showering/bathing, wet room was of exception standard and plenty of room (I am 1.88 cm, 6'2"). Even towels, body wash, and hair wash were provided. Good water pressure too. There was plenty of space and chairs to relax and invite guests or watch TV if you preferred. Lighting was ambient and very adjustable. The beds were difficult to get out of in the morning, as they were way too comfortable. I slept well every night, there was little street noise from busy Kashiwa. From my 4th floor location, I also had a great view day and night of that part of Kashiwa, from a modest veranda.
