The folks running the place clearly care about their guests and are very caring and kind. They provide tons of information about Hakata Island, and have curated a restaurant and map of where you can go for food since there isn’t too much on the island. We felt so cared for and looked after when we arrived after cycling for 4 hours in the pouring rain. Thank you so much for your kindness and we would happily return just to say hi and have more jams!

It looks like it’s too far down or not a middle point but it actually works really well if you’re going all the way to Imabari. We cycled from Onomichi to our stay and made it in right around 6pm. We took the bikes for food nearby, our host, Ai, recommended some nice places! The room was absolutely amazing: it was spacious, very pretty, and clean! The restroom was outside the rooms, also very spacious and clean. The next day, Ai helped us with our itinerary. We were tired from the day before so we wanted to take some ferries. She wrote down all the information for us and gave us very good pointers and highly suggested the best viewpoint in the island that was totally worth it. We made it to our next destination safely and on time thanks to our host. We’d definitely go back and stay for more time. This town has a lot to see and the accommodation was just amazing!
