I had a wonderful 2 nights here. Very comfortable and a perfect location for visiting the onsens. The owner was very kind and welcoming and enjoyed learning about the history of the ryokan. Close to all bath houses and the train station. Don’t skip on the Japanese traditional breakfast.

Very conveniently located, 3-5 minute walk to the train station, local to all the Onsen’s, cafe’s and restaurants at your door step. The staff were incredibly helpful and very lovely - they were able to accommodate our limited Japanese and spoke very good English. The room was definitely more of a hotel than a hostel, you have your own space and bathroom, and a window with a view of a temple - from which you could hear the drums of an early evening. It was beautiful ☺️
