The staff was so attentive even before my arrival, some of them could not speak english but that didn’t stop them from being so kind. The room is so peaceful I barely wanted to step out it’s like your own little bubble, including everything you could need with a lovely balcony and enough space for your items. Bed was comfortable, great AC and everything was clean, they even have heated WC!! Food was good they have many options to choose from and portions are good. Overall an amazing stay exactly what I needed to recharge after my long travels. If you are more active they have amazing camping tours that you can take and I heard great things from the other travelers.

Guests will find free water and plastic-free products at the property. I had a wonderful stay at Mandala Ou. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, with beautiful views of the river and surrounding mountains. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tastefully furnished—everything feels well thought out. The pool is surrounded by greenery and was one of my favorite spots to relax after a day of exploring. They offer bicycles, which made getting around town incredibly easy and convenient—a great way to explore at your own pace. The staff were kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. I also really appreciated the resort’s thoughtful approach to sustainability—they provide reusable water bottles that you can refill any time for free, which is such a nice touch. The resort’s restaurant offers a variety of fresh and flavorful options, both Western and Lao. I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which truly left nothing to be desired. Would 100% come back. One of my favorite stays in Laos.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. What is there not to like? From the moment you arrive, you are greeted by the smiling face on the concierge/gatekeeper. Je insists on carrying your nags and escorting you through the flower-bedecked pergola to reception and then onwards to your bungalow. The bungalows have a superb view over the river and are well-equipped. The bed was enormous and very, very comfortable. The water pressure in the bathroom was so good that one was able to have a proper shower. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone. All the staff are so helpful and keen to make sure your stay is good. Well, my stay wasn't good, it was excellent!!! If I could, I would give this place at least 12 stars 🌟.
