We had a warm welcome with tea/coffee offered upon arrival. During the stay the host was very approachable for any questions we had. It’s conveniently located and walking distance to the entrance of Adams Peak. Nice breakfast is served, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood. The place looks just like in the pictures. The view of the lake is breathtaking, the room was very comfortable and probably the cleanest one of our 3-week travel in Sri Lanka. The hosts were exceptionally friendly, offering us all recommendations we needed and making sure we left the breakfast with our bellies filled with delicious homecooked food. Would dedinitely recommend!

Traveller’s Villa provides cosy accomodation for a reasonable price with welcoming and helpful owners. House is located in very quite location. There was possibility to have autentic and tasty Sri Lankan homemade food which was super tasty. Owner was always willing to help us and drive us wherever we needed. We felt really good at this place and would recommend it to enyone who likes peace and friendly atmosphere.

Very stylish apartment, different in a very positive way. Very nice view. Restaurants in walking distance. Very nice and helpful host. Doggy bag have been prepared instead of breakfast because of early leaving. Very professional host.

I found Ambula Resort by chance and I’m glad I booked it. The place is simple but comfortable, and it was very clean when we arrived. The view from the property is nice, and it’s quiet at night. The staff were friendly, and check-in was easy. We had dinner at Matara Ambula Restaurant nearby, which was also good. If you are looking for a calm place away from the noise, this is a good option in Nuwara Eliya.
