Whole property is super cool with nice touches that makes it very cozy. Room was extremely spacious with very comfortable huge bed. I liked balcony with nice seating area, which we did not have time to use :) . Whole style of hotels gives you nice colonial vibes, which is so typical for this town, so it just perfectly completed whole feeling from this Sri Lankan historical gem. Stuff was super nice always have nice words for us and helped us with all the questions we had.

Breakfast was fantastic with a lot of varieties. Everything was freshly made with passion and love. Franzi would occasionally give us a ride with the tuktuk when going out, or in need of a quick transport. Her driving skills are simply unmatched and deserves mentioning. The days felt nice and long as the property offers a safe space to retreat from the busy, chaotic roads further south, making you enjoy every second at the property more. Stunning views from all corners into the vast ocean with unforgettable sunsets leave you speechless. Our trip through SriLanka was rapidly transformed from an adventurous busy holiday to a perfect relaxing safe space with direct access to the beach. Leaving this place makes me extremely sad but I am hoping to return soon again to spend some more quality time with the wonderful people I’ve met here, and can call friends. Everything went smoothly, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfasts were varied. The place is quiet, and we had no disturbances at night. The shower room with an open roof was a unique experience. We highly recommend this place for its comfort and peaceful atmosphere!

Kitchen was well equipped and bathroom had a washing machine too. There was greenery all around and so very peaceful. The staff was so welcoming, warm and always smiling. Their hospitality was one of the finest. We used to order food in room service and it was super delicious. Somedays I really miss this place. Whenever I visit again, without a second thought I will only stay here.

Relaxing outside will be a must! More than in a hostel I felt like I was staying in a 5-star hotel !! 😍 The owner also made us do meditation and for my birthday they also organized a wonderful surprise, I couldn’t ask for anything better, we felt like family, we can’t wait to come back!
