There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The property is 2.6 km from Bogambara Stadium, and within less than 1 km of the city centre. Couldn’t recommend more. It had everything, comfy bed, good AC and fan, free great brekky, nice view, laundry, TV and awesome staff. Really good value for money also. A nice place to recover a few days.

Unfortunately I only got to stay 1 night because it was sold out the next day. Otherwise I would have stayed longer for sure! He made sure I got on a good bus to Dambulla with a free transfer! Also gave me some delicious fruit. The terrace was so nice to sit and relax. If I ever come back to Kandy I will stay here again. Women's dorm is very spacious!

Amazing place - this may be the best place I stay in Sri Lanka. It is not in city center but is a short tuk tuk ride away. The room is lovely, the bed huge and comfortable (best night sleep!) and the grounds are lovely (great for catching up on travel / life admin in a great setting). The food they served was fantastic. All in all I really loved my stay here and it the value for the cost was phenomenal.

She prepared a delicious homemade breakfast, beautifully presented and served with love. The place itself is very beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy quiet moments. The atmosphere was calm and felt very safe. More than just a stay, this was a heartwarming experience. Aunty Thennakoon’s exceptional hospitality made it special. We had lovely conversations with her, just like with a close relative. And created memories we’ll never forget.
