The area is popular for fishing and cycling, and bike hire is available at this 2-star hotel. Incredible host who took os out on a really nice evening tour! He arranged the safari for us the next day where we saw a leopard and elephant! He helped us get transportation to Mirissa as well the next day for a really good price! The view was beautiful and food was good. The location was a bit remote but really nice if you’re doing a safari. Can’t recommend enough:)

I made a booking here after I have read all the amazing reviews and I’m so glad I did. Nalin is such a nice person and just an amazing host! He contacted us after booking and we always stayed in touch. He was happy to help us with anything we needed and always provided with great tips and info. We were really touched with his hospitality. They cooked a great dinner just was for us that was included in the stay and it was soo good! Their house is beautiful, new, very clean. WiFi worked good. They even met us with welcome drinks and Nalin woke up at 4am to make a tea before our safari. Tissa itself is so beautiful town that is really worth visiting not only for Yala. We wish we could stay longer, we hope to come back again! Thank you very much Nalin 😊

Udara is an absolute star, and always on hand with anything you may need. He even took us down to the local beach as we wanted to relax on the sun and this was beautiful too and only a short ride away. The food on the evening prepared by Udaras mother and auntie was fantastic and so tasty, and plentiful. Even a washing machine is available should you need to freshen anything up. I happened to cut a toe on a rock, and the lovely Udara went out of his way to get some antiseptic cream for the cut which was so kind and thoughtful. We can highly recommend staying here, Udara sorted out our jeep for the morning safari and came with us which helped to spot all the wildlife in Yala national park and a lovely breakfast was provided to have at our convenience.
