This lodge is located on the banks of the Kavango River, along the route toward Botswana just before entering the Caprivi Strip. That’s why we stayed here twice: once on the way to Botswana and again on our return journey. The lodge offers various levels of comfort, including private cottages and well-equipped tents. We tried both options, and each was comfortable and enjoyable. In every case, there’s a special feeling of being close to nature. In the evenings, after dinner, the staff lights a campfire where guests can relax in the unique atmosphere. The lodge also offers boat tours on the Kavango River, perfect for watching the sunset and encountering hippos. This was truly one of the most unforgettable evenings of our entire trip. The food deserves special mention. The restaurant terrace is beautifully designed, and the dinner we had there was probably the best of our entire journey.

The gardens are stunning and the rooms as super comfortable with quality fixtures and fittings. Stefan provided a delicious dinner at short notice and the food was delicious and well presented. We could not find fault with anything and would highly recommend !

NAMU Apartments ligt in Katima Mulilo en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Leuke nog in aanbouw zijnde accommodatie. Waar ik sliep was goed. Airco werkte perfect, en de eigenaar heeft voor mij een taxi geregeld die me over de grens naar Kasane gebracht heeft. 3 dagen later ook weer opgehaald en terug gebracht naar Katima. Dikke pluim daarvoor.

Loction was the best right along the river at the tip of Namwi Island. One could watch and listen the hippo's in the evening. Bird watching in and around Juda Haus was excellent. The staff were excellent.
